Coach Leick

Coach Leick began his coaching career in 1997 at Lindbergh High School as an offensive and defensive line coach. From 2000-2009 he coached at Hazen High School as the defensive coordinator and linebacker coach. He also coached the offensive line, receivers and was the Assistant Head Coach at Hazen. He spent a couple years doing stats for Kentwood and filming for Mount Rainier before coming to Tahoma High School in 2015 as an assistant defensive line coach. In 2016-2017 he coached at Tahoma Middle School and Summit Trail Middle School. He returned to Tahoma in 2018 as the defensive line coach and as of 2022 will be serving as the defensive coordinator.


Coach Leick played high school football at Hazen (1988-1991) advancing to the simi-finals in his senior year. In college Coach Leick played offensive line at Walla Walla Community College (1992-1994) ultimately finishing his career at Western Washington University (1995-1996).


Coach Leick has been married to his wife Jennifer since 1997. They have two kids Kaelynn and Tyler who are both Tahoma graduates. He ahs been working for the Boeing Company since 1997.
